When we have agreed to run an Artboost Limited campaign with you, it is a good idea to reach out to people in your own community, especially before we launch the campaign. Use your community on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest etc. to spread the word about your upcoming campaign.

The purpose of reaching out to people before the campaign launches is to create awareness and attraction so that there is a lot of momentum on day one. It is also good to get them on board with your project and have them ready to spread the word for you.

There are many ways to promote a Artboost Limited campaign. We have listed a few ideas that you can use, but you’re more than welcome to find your own way of promoting. It is after all your campaign.

#1 | Pre-hype your campaign
It’s a good idea to pre-hype your campaign before it’s live. Below you can see some examples of how previous artists pre-hyped their campaigns. As seen below, previous artists got their communities involved pre-campaign with an A/B test (testing which artwork the audience likes the most). This is a way of prototyping - to find out which campaign your network will prefer, and it is also a great way to create a lot of traffic on your post. In case you need help, just contact us, and we will create a post for you.

#2 | Launch!

As well as in the pre-hype phase before your campaign is online, it’s a good idea to reach out to your own network on social media as soon as it launches. They know you already. They know your personal brand. And people who know your personal brand are also more likely to purchase. Post the campaign images from our website, link to your campaign, and write a short and clear description of what you’re linking to.

#3 | Engage your audience

Make you campaign go viral. Use your social media presence to increase awareness, and encourage your friends/family to share for you. Don’t be afraid to find groups and pages on Facebook that you aren’t normally a part of to join and share the campaign. To create even more traffic, you could even make it a competition with a free print.

#4 | Create urgency

Let’s say that your campaign runs for 25 days and has to receive 17 pre-orders before production is guaranteed. When you reach 10 pre-orders and there is only 5 days left before the campaign expires, it’s a good idea to create some urgency among your community by encouraging them to “buy before it’s too late”. Let them know that there are only 7 chances remaining to catch your limited edition print.

#5 | Share image of you signing print

People on social media love to see you! They would love to see you work on the project, and they would love to see you signing the prints that they’re going to receive. In fact, we can see a great engagement on e.g. Facebook from posts like this. Below you’ll see some examples of previous artists sharing their images of them signing their crowdfunding campaigns.

We want you to focus on the things you are good at - making art - which is why we take care of everything else, providing assistance with everything from production to promotion. But in order for us to give you and other artists the best experience, we need your feedback. Write us an email, or leave a review on our Trustpilot page after your campaign has finished to let us know how we’re doing. In case you know another great artist who would be interested in a Artboost Limited campaign, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Are you wondering what Artboost Limited can do to help you promote? Here is a list of things, that we, among other things, have done in the past to help artists reach successful campaign:

  • Make graphics, visuals, and mockups of your campaign
  • Make a Facebook post
  • Create a Facebook ad
  • Promote your campaign on Instagram
  • Make a google adword campaign
  • Do SEO optimization
  • Promote your campaign through different newsletters
  • Make sure to always keep ourselves informed about analytical traffic
  • Upload your campaign in our Facebook product catalog
  • Handle customer service

As soon as we receive the prints from the printshop, we will need your signature and your bank information. We will use this signature for all the prints so that they are certified limited edition, and we will use the bank info you provide to send you the profit from the pre-orders.

Hopefully this won’t happen – but if for some reason your campaign doesn’t reach its goal, the campaign will be cancelled and none of your customers will be charged for the unsuccessful campaign. But don’t give up! You can still promote and sell your amazing artwork on Artboost.com, and you are more than welcome to try another Artboost Limited campaign in the future.
